Our history
1992-1999
Shaoqiang Li, our founder was the vice president of the Paint Industry Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. During his tenure, he cooperated with Rohm and Haas and BASF in the production of latex paint for construction, and cooperated with Nippon Paint to promote applications in northern China.
1999-2002
Shaoqiang established the China Coatings Network. During this period, he onboarded and provided market services to international suppliers, resulting in the signing and successful implementation of multiple technology introduction projects, including Imperial Chemical Industries (“Dulux”), Sherwin-Williams, PPG, and AkzoNobel.
2002-2004
In close collaboration with companies including Bayer, BASF, and BYK Additives & Instruments, Shaoqiang created an integrated, holistic, and efficient technical management and production system for water-based decorative paint products, specifically designed for the Chinese domestic market. He promoted the production system to Chinese paint manufacturers and developed the end-user market of construction contractors.
2004-2007
Through in-depth cooperation with Sto AG, Alligator Farbwerke and Singapore Nippon Paint, Shaoqiang led the creation of an integrated energy-saving finishing system for exterior wall insulation and waterproof decoration, which was supported by the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development. Amongst its many users are well-known domestic real estate companies, including Vanke, Evergrande, and Gemdale.
2008-2015
Shaoqiang established strategic partnerships with Doubrava Industrieanlagenbau GmbH, m-tec, Wacker Chemie AG and China Building Material Academy for the R&D and production of building materials. This joint research combined market trends and policies with targeted development of special products and markets, providing application experiments and case data, and promoting advanced production line equipment and products.
Shaoqiang also collaborated with Putzmeister Holding GmbH, Changsha Sany Heavy Industry, and Zoomlion in the mechanized construction field, conducting pilot projects with the China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau for Vanke Jinyu Blue Bay and Huxin Island (Xiamen), Evergrande Yayuan (Changsha) and Wanxiang Tiancheng (Shijiazhuang), amongst other high-profile real estate projects.
